Relive the first excavations in the Haute Vallée de l’Aude, where fossilized bones were discovered as early as the late 19th century. In 1989, dozens of sauropod bones were unearthed, marking the start of an exceptional scientific adventure.
Admire the complete skeleton of a large sauropod dinosaur, discovered in 2001—the most complete ever found in France. A centerpiece that makes the museum famous since its opening in 2007.
Kids can find their favorite dinosaurs, play games, draw, and color. A quiz is available at the reception to test their knowledge.
