Vignerons en Scène: a unique banquet in Lagrasse

For one exceptional evening, Lagrasse Abbey becomes a living stage for the stories, passions and expertise of our winegrowers.

Following a week-long artistic residency in the heart of the vineyards, a troupe of actors brings their work to life through sensitive and authentic portraits of the men and women who shape the landscapes and wines of the Corbières, Minervois and Fitou appellations. In three iconic spaces within the abbey, let yourself be guided from one stage to the next to discover these stories inspired by real-life encounters.

The evening continues in the abbey’s wine cellar with a guided tasting of seven iconic wines, in the presence of the winegrowers from the three appellations, for a special moment of conversation and discovery.

Then, in the unique atmosphere of the old cellar, take your seat for a unique banquet where local cuisine and food-and-wine pairings bring out the very best of the region.

A sensory, cultural and convivial experience where heritage, theatre, gastronomy and wines come together to celebrate the art of living in Corbières, Minervois and Fitou.

And because an exceptional evening always has a few surprises in store… let yourself be carried away right up to the very last moment.

A musical finale full of elegance

And to round off the evening in style… the music takes over! Virgile Goller on the accordion and Maëlle Rouifed on the cello will bring the evening to life with a repertoire inspired by vineyards and wine. It’s the perfect way to keep the conversations, exchanges and smiles going in a festive and lively atmosphere!

Founded and directed by Laurent Soffiati, the Compagnie Idéal Cinéma is a creative space dedicated to the many forms that the spoken word can take.

On stage, voice, breath, movement, silence and physical presence intertwine to give rise to original creations, at the crossroads of theatre, literature, music and performance reading. The company also explores less conventional territories, where art engages in dialogue with sporting movement, to invent new ways of storytelling, communicating and sharing.

Drawing on the winemakers’ own accounts, the actors bring to life their stories, their ways of working, their memories and that very special bond that unites them with the land and all living things.

Throughout this journey, the audience discovers the people behind the craft, the landscape behind the vineyards and the stories passed down from generation to generation.
