At the heart of the hive

With a passionate beekeeper, step into a unique space dedicated to bees and their vital role in nature. The Bee Theatre takes you inside the hive, observed safely behind a glass wall or on large screens. Thanks to a camera, you get a close look at the cells, the queen, and the workers in full activity. (In case of bad weather, the opening of the hive cannot be ensured.)

The secrets of beekeepers

The visit continues at the Clauses Honey House, with the extraction workshop. Children and adults discover the precise gestures of honey harvesting and, in season, kids may even take part in the extraction and taste freshly collected honey. For two generations, the family of beekeepers has shared their passion, explaining how their 800 hives travel across different regions to produce a wide variety of unique honeys.

A journey of the senses

The highlight comes with the guided tasting: garrigue, rosemary, forests, sunflower, acacia, strawberry tree… honeys with the typical aromas of Languedoc, true flavor postcards of the land. The shop also offers a wide range of honey-based delights: gingerbread, mead, vinegar, pollen, and royal jelly. A gourmet and memorable experience for the whole family.
