Friday from 4 PM: Welcome by the owner and check-in at the rural Gîte de France
- Communal rural gîte with equipped kitchen, individual rooms, welcome basket, bed and household linen provided, firewood, Wi-Fi
- Tourist documentation available: restaurants, sites to visit, wine producers, local products, hiking routes
Saturday – Traditional driven hunt
- Early morning: the gîte owner accompanies hunters and introduces
them to the drive leader of the approved hunting association (AICA for
Montgaillard and Maisons)
- Distribution of hunting rules and safety instructions, document checks (license, insurance)
- Trackers identify traces, the drive leader assigns posts
- The hunt begins: dogs are released, hunters remain at their posts for several hours (bring your own snack)
- End of day: horn signal for return, wild boars are butchered and shared* among hunters (draw)
Sunday – Traditional driven hunt
- Same format as Saturday, in a different area
- After the hunt and meat sharing*, return of gîte keys and departure

The price includes
- Accommodation in a rural gîte (2 or 3 ears depending on availability), individual rooms, 2 nights (bed linen included)
- 1 welcome basket per hunter
- 2 days of traditional driven hunt at a fixed post (Saturday and Sunday)
- A civic gesture: part of the fee is donated to the Loisirs et Nature en Hautes Corbières association to help maintain vineyard fences and reduce crop damage caused by wildlife
- Game results not guaranteed, but the annual average is 150 animals
- In case of high temperatures, hunting will take place in the morning

Conditions & Validity
- Booking deadline: 3 working days before arrival
- Dates set by the prefecture depending on the hunting zones: open from October 10 to January 31
- Maximum participants: 10 hunters per weekend
- The hunting association includes 10 to 25 hunters per drive
Date change policy:
Depending on weather conditions: the day before arrival, the hunter may
contact the drive leader or the hunting president (contact details
provided on the voucher) to confirm favorable conditions. If conditions
are poor, the reservation may be postponed.
Essential documents:
Hunters must hold a valid hunting license for the Aude department
(national or temporary validation), a big game stamp, and proof of
insurance.
