Conditions & Validity

Book today and come whenever you like within the opening hours and days indicated.

  • From 1 April to 30 September: 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
    Last admission to the castle: 5:00 p.m.
    Last admission to the ramparts: 5:45 p.m.
  • From 1 October to 31 March: 9.30am to 5pm
    Last admission to the castle: 3.45pm
    Last admission to the ramparts: 4.15pm

Practical information

  • The ramparts close 30 minutes before closing time and the cloakrooms 15 minutes before.
  • Guided tours are available in French and English (duration 45 minutes). Tours depart from the main courtyard of the count's castle at no extra charge to the admission fee, subject to guide availability.

Closures

  • Closed on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December.
  • On 14 July, due to the fireworks display, both ramparts are closed to visitors for safety reasons, and the monument will close exceptionally at 5.30 pm.
    • The ticket offices are scheduled to close at 4.45pm.
