A vibrant region to discover in a group

In the heart of the Corbières, explore ancestral know-how as a group. Between dizzying vineyards, sourdough bread and Alphonse Daudet's tale, enjoy a day of sensory discovery and local traditions in Cucugnan, a symbolic village in southern France.

Day programme, between vineyards, mill and castle

Welcome at the Hautes Corbières cooperative winery

At 10am, a guide welcomes you with coffee or tea. This vineyard, cultivated by 124 winemakers over 890 hectares, reveals its secrets during a guided tour on foot or by car. Discover grape varieties, aromas, blending techniques and the influence of the terroir. A tasting at the Cellier des Terroirs du Vertige completes this immersion into the world of wine.

Local lunch in a Cucugnan inn

At 12:30pm, enjoy a typical meal in a village inn. Sample menu: vegetable escalivade, beef braised in Corbières wine, almond milk blancmange, local wine and coffee. A relaxing and convivial moment in the heart of the Corbières.

The Curé of Cucugnan’s sermon: a revisited tale

At 2:30pm, attend a modern staging of the famous Curé of Cucugnan’s sermon, inspired by Alphonse Daudet. This lively show immerses you in the Occitan imagination with humour and emotion.

Meet the Maîtres de Mon Moulin

At 3pm, step into the world of milling and bread-making. The Maîtres de Mon Moulin welcome you into their bakery for a demonstration of hard sourdough, ancient flours and forgotten grains. A delicious and authentic experience.

Visit to the Château de Quéribus

At 4pm, end the day with a visit to the Château de Quéribus, the last Cathar stronghold. Easily accessible, this fortress offers a journey through medieval history, from crusades to royalty. Your guide leads you through this poetic and historical exploration.
