Program
Naturalist cruise off the coast of the Pyrénées-Orientales
Observe marine species in their natural habitat: whales, dolphins, fish, seabirds, and loggerhead turtles.
During the 10-hour cruise, you'll have the chance to witness these animals in the wild.
The cruise begins with motor navigation to cover more distance in search
of cetaceans. Once spotted, the approach is made gently under sail.
Species you may observe include:
- Cetaceans: striped dolphin, bottlenose dolphin, Risso’s dolphin,
black pilot whale, sperm whale, and the second-largest animal on
Earth—the fin whale
- Fish: sunfish, flying fish, sharks, tuna, swordfish
- Birds: shearwaters, terns, gulls, puffins
Although the cruise boasts a 95% success rate, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Not recommended for children under 8 due to the duration.
