Every year, Vignobles en Scène captivates wine and heritage enthusiasts with immersive experiences that blend culture, gastronomy and history.
This year, the Corbières Minervois Tourist Office is offering a special event: Le Festin Médiéval, a unique evening where local flavours meet the atmosphere of banquets of yesteryear. An experience to be enjoyed exclusively with sudfrance.fr.

A national event celebrating local regions
Organised at national level by the Vignobles & Découvertes label, “Vignobles en Scène” showcases French wine destinations through cultural and gastronomic events.
The aim is to help visitors discover the richness of the terroirs, wines and local heritage, whilst offering a warm and authentic experience.
The Corbières Minervois, an iconic region of the Languedoc, is fully in keeping with this spirit, combining its way of life, landscapes and traditions.
A zany, dramatised tour that takes you on a journey through history
As soon as you arrive, the tone is set with a dramatised tour of the village, led by the Compagnie Théâtre de l’ Hyménée de Lagrasse.
Guided by actors in medieval costume, visitors discover the history of the area through lively, interactive scenes.
The funny and endearing characters from the period take you on a journey full of anecdotes, surprises and humour.
This theatrical introduction creates a truly immersive experience and sets the scene for the rest of the evening: a feast worthy of the great banquets of the Middle Ages.
The Medieval Feast: a culinary and sensory journey
Next up is the highlight of the event: The Medieval Feast.
In a setting inspired by the banquets of yesteryear, you’ll enjoy a modern take on a medieval meal, accompanied by wines from Corbières Minervois, carefully selected to bring out the best in each dish.
